From research and development to market launch and the lifespan of a machine product, we are your reliable partner for materials testing.
We assist you in your product development, offering services such as material consultation or prototype testing.
We support you in your process development, for example, when defining raw material specifications or developing testing procedures for quality control. Additionally, as an accredited material testing laboratory, we are fully equipped to perform quality inspections for you.
Do you need testing for a component or semi-finished product from your production? Are you looking for the cause of a defect or production issue? Or do you need a certification for your product? You've come to the right place.
The product you purchased doesn't meet expectations, or a customer has complained about your product? As an accredited material testing lab, we are the go-to resource for an objective and impartial expert opinion.
We are also happy to provide support if you require objective test data for your marketing.
Beyond the services we offer to our customers, our staff also take part in internal and external research projects, allowing them to constantly broaden their horizons.
You benefit from this ongoing knowledge growth in the form of quick and creative solutions to your challenges.
Here, we present a selection of case studies from the machine industry that we work on, to give you an impression of our expertise in this exciting field.
If you have any questions, our experts are always available to assist you.
Our new milling test setup enables the quantification of the wear resistance of side-cutting tools. The test bench uses a low-friction cable mechanism to press the material to be machined laterally against the tool with a defined force. A laser distance sensor precisely measures the travel distance, which, together with time measurement, allows for an accurate calculation of the cutting speed of the tool. This highly reproducible test allows for the comparison of different milling tools in terms of performance and service life.
In PMI analysis (Positive Material Identification), the goal is to determine whether a material or component has the required chemical composition. The focus of this process is not on the exact chemical composition, but rather on verifying that the correct material is being used. The analysis can be conducted either in the laboratory or on-site with a portable device.
Our latest electrodynamic testing machines enable fatigue tests with calibrated loads starting at 4 N. In combination with the DIC method (Digital Image Correlation), this opens up the world of optical deformation tracking of specific locations, even during dynamic tests.
Discuss your concerns with our experts. They will be happy to help you determine the best course of action.
You are welcome to drop off your samples. Just give us a quick call beforehand and we’ll take care of them. Depending on our workload, we’ll process them right away. If it's extremely urgent, we also offer express services.
We usually process smaller orders within 10 working days (within the limits of our technical and human resources). Contact us for clarification of prioritized processing for an additional charge. For larger projects, we will be happy to propose a customized schedule.
We usually communicate the test results to you in the form of a test certificate. If desired, we can prepare a more detailed report for you in which we can statistically process and interpret the results and/or make recommendations. We will be happy to send you both with a digital signature.
As an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, confidentiality is our top priority. Further information on how we handle your data can be found in our General Terms and Conditions. Please contact us regarding additional protective measures for particularly sensitive data.
Since 1995, the services of our materials testing laboratory have been accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025. Our QM system is ISO 9001 certified.
