MID technology combines electrical and mechanical functions in a single component by directly applying conductive tracks onto the surface. This effectively reduces the number of components, weight, installation space, and costs. Increasingly, more components in automotive manufacturing are being produced using MID technology, with conductive tracks and spacing becoming increasingly miniaturized.
We offer developers and manufacturers of MID parts numerous investigations to characterize the metallization and structure of the conductive tracks, making a valuable contribution to the further development of this technology.
Our latest electrodynamic testing machines enable fatigue tests with calibrated loads starting at 4 N. In combination with the DIC method (Digital Image Correlation), this opens up the world of optical deformation tracking of specific locations, even during dynamic tests.
When testing technical cleanliness, function-relevant components are specifically examined for particle contamination resulting from the manufacturing process. Even the smallest particles can cause nozzles or filters to clog, valves to jam or bearings to block. On printed circuit boards, a chip can unintentionally connect conductor paths. Components and systems can fail as a consequence.

You are welcome to drop off your samples. Just give us a quick call beforehand and we’ll take care of them. Depending on our workload, we’ll process them right away. If it's extremely urgent, we also offer express services.
We usually process smaller orders within 10 working days (within the limits of our technical and human resources). Contact us for clarification of prioritized processing for an additional charge. For larger projects, we will be happy to propose a customized schedule.
We usually communicate the test results to you in the form of a test certificate. If desired, we can prepare a more detailed report for you in which we can statistically process and interpret the results and/or make recommendations. We will be happy to send you both with a digital signature.
