Vickers or Shore hardness test

Vickers

Hardness testing on metallic and non-metallic materials in the micro-hardness range, HV 0.1 and small force range, HV 0.2 to HV 2 can be carried out by us.

Shore

Hardness testing on plastics and hard rubber is carried out according to Shore A (10 - 90 Shore A) and Shore D (30 - 90 Shore D).

Whenever possible, we carry out our testing services in accordance with or based on these international standards:

  • Leica VMHT MOT (Vickers)
  • Zwick Shore A & Shore D

What you should know about this method?

Are the analyses accredited?

Yes, the test methods according to ISO 868, ISO 6507-1 and ASTM D2240 are validated by us and accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025.
